9 Months Old

Our big guy turned 9 months old on July 3. Here are his stats:


Height: 29"
Weight: 23 lbs. 9 oz.
Teeth: 1/2 (we're still waiting for it to finish coming in!)

Babies R Us

B went with Mommy to Babies R Us and rode in the shopping cart for the first time. So much to see at the Babies R Us...

Ahoy Matey!

We went to celebrate our friend Austin's 4th birthday, which was a Pirate Party! Here's our little guy, ready to swab the deck.

A Few Steps

B is starting to stand on his own for a few seconds at a time... and then plop!

Up the Stairs

We put Brooks on the stairs, and he already knew how to climb them, the little monkey! The only problem is that he doesn't realize that there's not a floor behind him, and sometimes he likes to try and sit down and take a break from all the work...


















Gus is making sure we all know that this is still his turf... but he'll share!

As Grandad says, it looks like someone laced the stuff with dynamite before giving it to him... Oh well. Messy but healthy.

Swimming at Uncle Todd's

Thank you Uncle Todd and Aunt Faina for letting me come swim at your house. When can I come back?

New Toy

Mommy got B a new toy to practice walking. (Walking? Yes, walking.) He is still a ways away, but getting closer every day.

July 4th in Kerrville

What a fun and busy weekend we had in Kerrville for the 4th.

We went for lots of walks around the house















We visited Grandpa in his office and crawled all around
















We had a fish fry, and Pop and Uncle Justin fried up everything in sight...















... while Momma K snuggled with B








B spent a lot of time playing with his toys in the kitchen











He also got to see lots of friends

We got to go swimming every day











And then John flew us home!

While the Cat's Away...

Pop went out of town the last weekend in June with Uncle Todd and Austin, so Mommy and B had fun at home. Aunt Sarah came for a visit, and so did Susan and Dirk!
