Texas Tradition
You're not officially a Texan until you've had your picture taken in a field full of bluebonnets. Brooks liked them so much that we couldn't get him to look up at the camera.

First Easter Egg Hunt
Brooks was an Easter superstar. After greeting everyone at church with a "HI" and "BUH-BYE", he found all the eggs that the Easter bunny left for him.

The first egg. Each subsequent egg came one at a time back to the basket.

I got one!

And another one!

B counts his eggs. (Have I mentioned that he can count to 20? The kid is a genius.)

Grandad helped Brooks find the Goldfish inside the eggs. Man does that Easter Bunny know what a boy likes!
Our little Easter Bunny with Grandad and 2Mama...

...and with Gram!

Momma, Pop and the little guy.

After we took off the Easter shirt and tie, we let Brooks have a run at the chocolate bunny that Gram brought. Yum!

Zack's Birthday Party
Our friend Zack celebrated his 30th birthday at the West Alabama Ice House -- the perfect place for all of us to spend a beautiful spring afternoon.

Brooks and LP played together and even clapped to the music from the band.

Never too early to start learning how to play 42.

So THAT'S what happens to you when you turn 30...
