We took both the boys to see fireworks this year.  On the way there, Brooks told me he was so happy that he felt like he could cry.  When we got there, and the boys waited together for the fireworks like this, I felt the same way:

Rainy Day

Gram found these fantastic rain jackets for the boys.  Soon enough, they'll be makin their rounds all over town, puttin out old flames...

Rodeo Time

Brooks and Finn had a great time at the rodeo.  They drove tractors, fed animals and shared some delicious chocolate milk.  Then they ran around on a hill until they wore themselves out and it was time to go home.  Until next year, buckaroos!

Ho Ho WAAAAAHHHH!!!

Before Christmas, we took the boys to meet Santa Claus. Brooks and Santa apparently go way back; they chatted a lot about the Batman toys and new sleigh Brooks was hoping Santa would bring him. Finn was... not a fan. We eventually got him calmed down, only to have him turn around and see Santa right behind him AGAIN!
