Christmas Photos

Pop, Mommy, Brooks and the dogs had a great time together on Christmas morning. Santa managed to find Brooks' house, even though Mommy didn't finish his stocking in time! (I'm almost done!)


















Unfortunately, Mommy and Pop didn't do a very good job of getting pictures of Brooks with all the family that he got to visit in Kerrville and in Houston. (Sorry, fam! We'll do better next time!) Here are a few of the ones we did manage to take:

Brooks got to meet Santa today. He asked for a ferris wheel, a pony, rocket ship, jet fighter...

During the "blizzard" last week, we took Brooks out to eat again, this time to Hungry's. He was very unphased by everything.

Big Boy!

Brooks is 9 weeks old already! This week, our big boy had lots of adventures...



We went to visit Dr. Savrick for our 2-month checkup and found out that Brooks is 24" long and weighs 13 lbs. 5 oz. He is a big boy!










We also loaded up the whole family and went for a walk. Pop decided to wear the Baby Bjorn for a change!

On Sunday, Pop and Mommy took Brooks to pick out his first Christmas tree, and then out to breakfast at Dry Creek. What a fun day!

Two Months Today

It's hard to believe that Brooks is already eight weeks old... time has flown by!

We've had a lot of big events this week. Yesterday was Thanksgiving, and we all went over to Uncle Todd's house:

Tonight, Brooks marked his two month birthday by rolling over from his tummy onto his back!

He started on his tummy,










then flipped to his side...









then kicked his leg over...










and presto!










He did it several times while Mommy and Pop clapped and smiled.

Pop helped Brooks grab onto the Octopus' ring on his floor gym, and Brooks had a good time playing tug-o-war.

Brooks has been at it again this week, meeting lots of new people.
