Last week, B had two special visitors:



Gram, who fed us dinner and
helped us cheer on the
US Men's Soccer team,





and Sarah Goldberg (I mean,
Rottman) who came all the way
from Washington DC. She said
she was coming to see Mommy,
but we know who she was really
after...!

Adventures with Spoon Feeding

Brooks went for his 4-month check-up last week. We found out he weighs 18 lbs, 4 oz. and is 26" long. WOW!
Dr. Savrick gave our big guy the all clear to begin eating solid foods, so here goes:

Pop says more got spit out than stayed in. Oh well!

Still not very crazy about it. We'll get the hang of it soon enough...

Pop's Birthday in Galveston

This weekend, we celebrated Pop's birthday by going to Galveston. We had a TON of fun and were so excited to see so many of our friends there!


Brooks finally got to meet Beth!







Lindsay came for the party and loaned B her sunglasses...









Pop played fetch in the ocean with Marty and Gus. They had such a good time!

Brooks has started 2009 with lots of new adventures.

He is starting to get better at

It's a Party!

Last weekend, Brooks went to a Barsa celebration for Konrad, who is exactly one month older than Brooks and who is here visiting his family all the way from London. (Mommy went to college with Konrad's mom, Anita.) Technically speaking, Brooks and Konrad didn't get to meet each other, as they were never awake at the same time, but we know they're friends anyway.
