Exersaucer Fun
We finally put together the exersaucer for Brooks to play with. He likes it, but is still a little too small for it. (Who would have thought he'd be too small for anything?!)

from Washington DC. She said

Adventures with Spoon Feeding
Brooks went for his 4-month check-up last week. We found out he weighs 18 lbs, 4 oz. and is 26" long. WOW!
Dr. Savrick gave our big guy the all clear to begin eating solid foods, so here goes:
First Try:
Pop says more got spit out than stayed in. Oh well!
Day Two:
Still not very crazy about it. We'll get the hang of it soon enough...

Pop's Birthday in Galveston
This weekend, we celebrated Pop's birthday by going to Galveston. We had a TON of fun and were so excited to see so many of our friends there!
Brooks finally got to meet Beth!
Lindsay came for the party and loaned B her sunglasses...
Pop played fetch in the ocean with Marty and Gus. They had such a good time!

Happy New Year!
Brooks has started 2009 with lots of new adventures.
Brooks cheered on the
Longhorns in the Fiesta Bowl.
(Actually, he was asleep during
the game, but we're sure he
would have been glad they won!)
Brooks took his first road trip
when we all went up to Austin.
Thank goodness Puppy could
keep him company in the car!
In Austin, he went to Aunt Sarah's
deb ball. Here he is, all dressed up
with his Momma K.
Pop took Brooks for his first
Thursday afternoon at Alfred's.
He is starting to get better at
sitting up. Here he is for the
first time in his Bumbo!
