Swim Lessons

Earlier this month, we started swim lessons. Brooks was an absolute champ, and was already trying to stick his head under the water on his first day! He is a little fishy in the making.

Finger Foods

Brooks has started eating a few finger foods. So far, we have experimented with pasta, Puffs and (of course) Cheerios! Here is his first Cheerio experience.

Do I like 'em?

You bet I do!

Yeah, I got a Cheerio on my chin. Jealous?

Crawling

As of the end of May, Brooks is officially crawling. (No more dragging his body along with one arm!) Since then, he has gotten really fast, and Mommy and Pop are just trying to keep up!

Standing Up

Brooks has so much fun showing us how he can pull up all by himself in his play area.

Mommy, are you watching?

Here I go!

I did it !!

Hey, where'd you go?

The Red Cup

At Slade's party, Brooks drank some water from Mommy's Red Cup.

Thank you to Mr. Bill, who taught us that the Red Cup is the best toy in the toy box. We won't leave home without one again!

Slade's Birthday Party

On Memorial Day, Brooks went to his first birthday party, which was for his cousin Slade. We had lots and lots of fun and got to introduce Super B to lots of family for the very first time!

Mr. Fix It

You can't tell, but his jammies say "Mr. Fix It", so it's only fitting that he have the proper equipment to deserve the title.

Once the work is done, now it's time to play! Another of his new tricks: pulling himself up on things...

Big Boy Bathtub

Brooks has now graduated to the big boy bathtub, although Mommy is having a hard time keeping up with the slippery little guy!

Here are some pictures from our first bath in the big tub. (Can you tell we just finished eating dinner?)
