A Tah!

Now that Brooks is facing forward in his car seat, he has become amazed by cars. He shouts "A Tah!" ("A Car!") and makes the sign for car, at each one that passes by. At home, he is all about playing with his tahs on his new picnic table. It's altogether precious.

Brooks is very into "talking" on the phone these days. He likes to hold the phone up to his ear while he walks all around the house. I think I heard him say "Buy! Sell!" the other day, but can't be sure.

Hook 'Em Horns

B went to Austin earlier this month to see the Longhorns' season opener -- his first live sporting event. Aside from the fiasco of Mommy forgetting to bring his bottle to the game, he had a great time!

Sunday Afternoon

Sunday afternoons are so much fun. We get to relax around the house and spend lots of time together. This past Sunday, B played by the windows on the stairs (which Mommy will be washing soon), and then he practiced walking all over the house.

Grandma Jo's Birthday

Last weekend, we celebrated Grandma Jo's (belated) birthday. She spent the whole day with us on Saturday, and we had so much fun showing her our swim lessons, snacks, walking and "talking." Grandma Jo -- we can't wait to see you again!

Breakfast

Every morning during the week, Pop fixes breakfast while Mommy gets the little guy up. This morning, it was waffles, and boy were they delicious!
